Empower 2026: Stronger People. Stronger Community.

Meeting needs today and equipping our neighbors for tomorrow.

A shift from Short-term help to

Long-term impact

We believe empowerment happens when compassion meets accountability and faith meets action. We are committed to providing tools, training, faith, and support so families can take confident next steps toward stability and hope.

How We Support Our Community

Empower 2026 is built on three intentional pillars that work together to create lasting change. We believe true empowerment happens when people are supported with resources, surrounded by relationships, and encouraged toward responsibility—at a pace that honors dignity, healing, and personal choice.

Resources

We offer help freely, without judgment, while remaining good stewards of donated resources. Every item given is meant to restore dignity, meet real needs, and open the door to stability.
Resources may include:

  • Essentials: hygiene, household items, pet food
  • Food pantry & hot ready-to-eat meals
  • Clothing (including interview/outfit support)
  • Resource library (self-help + faith + financial tools)
  • Financial assistance (bus passes, gas cards, propane vouchers)
  • Faith360 resource connection through ABCCM
  • Mini-grants and starter support for new entrepreneurs

Relationships

We believe people are not problems to fix—they are neighbors to know. Empowerment grows through trust, consistency, and care. Relationships turn relief into restoration.
Relationship-based support includes:

  • Prayer partners and encouragement
  • One-on-one listening and mentorship
  • Community gatherings, spirit nights, and outreach events
  • Youth and Next Generation programming
  • Prayer Chapel gatherings, worship nights, and Sunday services
  • Testimony and story-sharing opportunities
  • Partnerships for apprenticeship, job placement, and skill-building

Responsibility

Empowerment means helping people move forward—when they are ready—with clarity, support, and accountability. We believe responsibility is not punishment; it is dignity in action.
Opportunities for growth include:

  • Job fairs and employment connections
  • Skill development and trade training
  • “How-To” classes (budgeting, housing, technology, life skills)
  • Certifications upon training completion
  • Counseling and recovery support
  • Volunteer opportunities (when appropriate)
  • Small starter kits for trades and micro-businesses
  • Life organization support (email setup, document storage, reminders, planning tools)

Together is better

Rooted in Scripture

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
— 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me.

— Matthew 25:35–36 (ESV)

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

— Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: ‘The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.

— 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (NIV)

Empower 2026 is not about dependency

—it’s about discipleship, dignity, and direction. We will continue to feed the hungry, clothe the cold, and care for the hurting—while also creating pathways that help people rebuild, restore, and reclaim their God-given potential.
